What comprises a distributorship?
Advanced Merchandise will award a limited number of distributorships for the Ohio market. Distributors will sell headwear that is supplied by AMG. This includes, licensed sports caps, branded caps, women's headwear, children's hats and various theme-based caps.
What is the income potential for a distributor?
We manufacture caps in large quantities overseas and this allows us to supply caps at $4.50 per cap to a distributor. Similar caps retail for $19.00 to $29.00 at stores in a mall setting. The caps will retail for $9.99 and the retailer will earn 25% on each sale. This allows a profit of $3.00 for each cap sold. See calculator
What type of displays are offered?
Advanced Merchandise Group offers a wide array of products in displays that have proven to promote sales. A distributor will initially receive a quantity of standard display racks that are both cost effective and require a minimum amount of floor space.
We also include some custom display platforms that are suited for larger stores with a high traffic pattern. These are proprietary racks that effectively display the product for the highest volume of sales.
Is this a franchise?
No. We do not offer franchises and do not charge royalty fees or advertising costs. While we will supply marketing materials, products and expertise, you will run the business as your own entity.
Why now?
The economy dictates that people earn money in different ways than in previous years. It also presents new opportunities. Retail stores, gas stations etc., are increasingly receptive to new products being placed in their locations. They need to maximize revenue, while not designating significant capital to a new endeavor.
This product is easy to place and literally sells itself. As many people have stated, "You really have to see the product and hold it in your hands to understand the appeal."
What effect has the economy had on this business?
We consistently change products to meet market demand. For example, while we can offer NASCAR caps, due to licensing fees they are at a price point that is higher than what the current economy may allow. We have focused on product that has been a proven seller at a price that still allows it to be sold as an impulse item, while still providing a significant profit for both the retailer and wholesaler..
Why gas stations and convenience stores?
Shopping as a hobby has dramatically decreased. If you go to any local mall you will notice that there are fewer people shopping for any items that could be considered non-essential.
The items sold at gas stations and convenience stores are essential so they are continuing to generate substantial foot traffic. People will still buy a quality product at a good price, but the wholesaler must "bring the product to the customer". This marketing strategy does just that.
How do you select distributors?
We interview prospective distributors and determine if we think they will effectively sell product. Are they motivated? Do they have business skills? Do they possess the requisite verbal skills?
We only generate revenue if a distributor consistently sells product. We have a viable interest in your success.
How does this compare to other offers?
We are aware of all franchise opportunities that are available. They almost all require a significant financial commitment and offer little more than possible name recognition. Many of the offers that may have been viable eight months ago may not succeed in the current economy.
Consider if the business is labor intensive, in demand, requires further capital investment and most importantly; is this something you want to do?
As we are confident that this is a unique and timely opportunity we want you to consider all other options before meeting with us. Click on links below to explore other opportunities:
